The Device Name feature in the Momentify Explorer App helps you track exactly where and how leads are being captured across your event space. Whether you’re using multiple iPads at a single booth or assigning devices to specific teams, naming each device adds clarity and improves segmentation in your analytics.
What is a Device Name?
A Device Name is a custom label you assign to each iPad running the Momentify Explorer App. This name appears in lead records and event analytics, making it easy to understand which device captured which leads.
How to Set a Device Name
You can set or update a device name at any time from within the Momentify Explorer iPad App.
Open the Momentify Explorer App on your iPad
After signing in and selecting your event, go to the Settings menu (triple tap on the upper right of the screen)
Tap on Device Name
Enter a name that clearly identifies the device (e.g., “North Kiosk”, “Team B - Product Demo”)
Tap Save!
