Each user on the Environet Console has a Role with different permissions.

Owner

An Owner has full access. They can monitor and configure devices, manage devices invite other users to any role, and create alerts. Owners are the only role that change roles for other users and create API tokens.

Manger

A Manager can monitor and configure devices, manage devices, invite others as User, and create alerts.

User

A User role can only monitor devices. They can not configure or manage devices, invite users or create alerts.

Accountant

An Accountant can view the billing section of Environet for accounting purposes.

Owner > Manager > User

  • Note that you can only manage other people with Organizational Roles below your own, e.g., a Manager can only remove Users and an Owner can remove Managers and Users.
