The tool is part of the Leagues module - a paid add-on for websites.

The Teams tool allows you to add or manage teams for schools.

Key Points

  • The teams can be set up for different sports, and be later used to be set up within game schedules in the Schedule tool.

  • The teams will appear within the pages for their respective schools they are listed under.

  • Players can be added in each team, and can be listed under different seasons.

  • The Sports, Leagues, and Schools need to be set up in the "Leagues" module first before using this tool.

Admin View

These are the details for each item:

  • Filters - The three fields can be used to search for an added team based on a League, School, and/or Sport.

  • "Add Team" Option - Opens the "Add Team" option, which allows you to add in a new team.

    • A Sport and League can be added through this option.

    • Note: The team needs to be attached to a League so it can be set up within a game schedule.

    • Below are the fields to set up the team:

      • Team Name - The name of the team.

      • Select a Sport - The sport that the team is associated with.

      • League - The league the team is under.

        • You can add a new league through this field, or though the "League" tool.

      • School - The school the team is from.

        • Note: If the selected school is set up with their info and is already attached to a league, the "League" field and rest of the fields below (excluding "Description" and "More Information Link") will be automatically filled in with that info.

      • Field/Stadium Name - The name of the team's or their school's field/stadium.

      • Description - A description about the team.

      • Mascot - The name of the mascot.

      • Colors - The team's colors.

      • Team Logo - The logo for the team.

        • You can upload and select a graphic from the website's File Manager via the "Browse Server" button. For details on the File Manager, click here.

      • Address - The team's or their school's address

      • City - The city the team or their school are in

      • State - The state the team or their school reside in

      • Zip - The team's or their school's Zip Code.

      • Phone - The team's or their school's phone number.

      • Athletics Directors - The team's or their school's athletic director(s).

      • Team Website: The team's or their school's website.

      • More Information Link: The link to view more information about the team.
