Regular server maintenance is essential to providing consistent, reliable system performance.

During the maintenance windows, some services may be updated, but client use should not be affected. Once a month, updates to essential system services may require an extended period of downtime, usually between 5 and 10 minutes. If downtime in excess of 10-minutes is required expected, advanced notice will be given.

Scheduled Maintenance Updates:

  • Weekly - Sundays 7:00-11:00 PM CST (CDT)

  • Monthly - 3rd Sunday - Essential services update - Extended downtime expected (5-10min).

DATA RETENTION & BACKUPS

Nightly backups are performed on client and system data stored on Envisionwise servers. This includes client images, video and audio files uploaded to Envisionwise servers, as well as backups of all Envisionwise application databases and other essential files. Since almost all of the data pertaining to client sites is stored in the database, this backup can cause some latency, or “lag” in the display of a site during the these backups. Normally site load times remain unaffected. However, extended load times during a backup period may be experienced. Average time for full database backups is around 2 minutes.

Scheduled Backups:

  • Daily - 12:30 AM CST (CDT)
