Admin View:
This is a feature that allows you to add properties that are for rent or sale to your website, or search through your current properties to edit their information and add an image.
Add a New Property
Here are what you can set up for your new property:
Active - Enable or disable the visibility of the property on your website
Available - If enabled, the property's status will be set as "AVAILABLE". If disabled, it will be set as "LEASED".
Address - The address for the property
City - The city or town the property is located at
State - The state the property is located at
Zip - The Zip code for the property and location
Date Available - The date when the property will be available
Rent - The cost to rent or buy the property
# BR - The amount of bedrooms in the property. Ranges from "1" to "5+", but "Studio" can be selected if there are no bedrooms.
Type - The type of property being sold. The types you can select are listed below.
Apartment
Condo
Duplex
House
Townhouse
Unit - The amount of dwellings or buildings that are part of the property
Current Properties
This is where you can search and manage properties that were added through the tool. The information you can update for a property is the same as when creating a new property; however, there are three icons to the right of a current property (as shown below) that will allow you to manage it further.
Purple "Image" Icon
Clicking this will allow you to set up images for a property. Multiple images can be set up, and you can change the ordering for them. The top one will be the main image to display by default for the property.
Here are the fields for the "Add New Photo" option:
Current Property - Select the property you wish to set up a photo for
Photo - Upload a photo from your computer
Caption: Set up a description for the photo
Once you are all set, you can click the green "Add Photo" button.
In the "Current Photos" section, here are what you can manage for each photo you have uploaded for the property:
Caption - Update or add in the description for the photo
Blue "Minus" Icon - Clicking this will allow you to delete a photo from the property. Once deleted, there will be no way to get it back.
Blue "Arrows" Icon - By holding down the left click, you can drag and drop your photo to change the ordering for the photo. If the photo is set as the first image, it will be the main image to display by default for the property.
Once you are all set, you can click the green "Save Captions" button.
Yellow "Pencil" Icon
Clicking this will allow you manage the information you had set up previously, but you can also set up additional information that you couldn't add through the "Create a New Property" option.
Note: There is a field for "AppFolio ID" in this section. If you are not familiar with AppFolio, you can go to https://www.appfolio.com/ for more information.
Red "Trash Bin" Icon
Clicking this will allow you to delete your property from your website. Once deleted, there will be no way to get it back.
