Status Groups and Custom Workflows

Status groups let you customize how tasks and issues move through your workflow.

What Is a Status Group?

A status group is a collection of statuses that tasks or issues can have.

For example:

• To Do
• In Progress
• In Review
• Done

Viewing Status Groups

To view existing status groups:

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar

  2. Click Status Groups

  3. See all status groups in your workspace

Creating a Status Group

To create a new status group:

  1. Go to Settings > Status Groups

  2. Click Add Status Group

  3. Name your status group

  4. Add statuses (each with a name and color)

  5. Save

Editing Statuses

Within a status group, you can:

• Add new statuses
• Edit status names and colors
• Reorder statuses
• Remove statuses (if not in use)

Duplicating Status Groups

If you want to create a similar status group:

  1. Open an existing status group

  2. Click Duplicate

  3. Customize the copy as needed

System Status Groups

Some frameworks come with pre-configured status groups.

These are marked as system-generated and provide recommended workflows for specific compliance standards.
