Templates help you create consistent, reusable content for your compliance documentation.

What Are Templates For?

Use templates to:

• Standardize response formats across assessments
• Create reusable policy document structures
• Ensure consistency in how your team documents compliance
• Save time by not starting from scratch

Creating a Template

To create a new template:

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar

  2. Click Templates

  3. Click Add Template

  4. Give your template a name

  5. Use the rich text editor to create your template content

  6. Save

Using the Template Editor

The template editor supports:

• Rich text formatting
• Headings (which can be used for a table of contents)
• Lists and tables
• Placeholder text for fields to fill in

Duplicating Templates

To create a similar template:

  1. Open an existing template

  2. Click Duplicate

  3. Modify the copy as needed

  4. Save with a new name

Using Templates

When writing responses or documentation, you can:

• Copy content from templates
• Use templates as starting points
• Reference templates for consistent formatting
