Cookies are used to track and analyse data and activity on your website and are split into different types (not chocolate chip though!). Your privacy policy should have more information on which specific cookies are used on your careers site and candidate portal, so this article will focus on the different types of cookies used and how candidates can opt in or out as required.
Managing Cookies
When candidates first visit your careers site, they are presented with a cookie policy banner and have the option to opt in or choose to manage their preferences in more detail.
Clicking Accept Cookies Policy will opt the candidate in to all of the embedded cookies.
Clicking Reject All Cookies will opt the candidate out of all functional, performance and analytics cookies.
Clicking Customise Settings allows the candidate to learn more about the cookies we use and decide which of the optional cookies they wish to allow.
Customise Settings
Within Customise Settings, the candidate will see the different types of cookies used and be able to opt in / out accordingly:
Necessary Cookies - These are essential cookies for the website to function and can include security features and accessibility tools. The candidate wont be able to opt out of these cookies as they are used to keep the website safe and secure.
Functional Cookies - These are optional for the candidate but are recommended as they are used to power different features of the website. This can include dynamic content and media used throughout.
βPerformance and Analytics Cookies - These cookies are used for tracking activity and monitoring website performance, which are then used to enhance the user experience. These can include things like Google Analytics or ClickIQ.
All the candidate needs to do is use the toggles to opt in our out, then click Save Preferences to confirm.
Cookies used on eploy.net websites
To see the most up-to-date list of Cookies used within an Eploy powered website, access your demo or live system's vacancy pages. Scroll to the bottom of the page then click Cookie Policy.
In addition to information on the three Cookie types listed above, you'll also be able to find details on the First Party and Third Party cookies enabled on your website.
As a customer, you may choose not to use some of the optional features or add new ones of your own.
