With Eploy's Zoom integration, you can sync your system with your chosen video conferencing platform and create meetings all whilst working within Eploy.
Zoom is linked within Admin > System/Security Settings > Standard Users, so you will need to have the relevant admin user permissions to set this up.
Linking Zoom Account
⚠️ Important only Zoom Admins can link Eploy with your Zoom account.
Log into Eploy and, from the menu bar, navigate to Admin > System/Security Settings > Standard Users.
Scroll down to Online Meetings and click Link Zoom Account.
On the following page, log into your Zoom Admin account and follow the onscreen instructions.
Matching Zoom Users
Eploy will check if an active user exists in Zoon when creating a meeting. Either the User Name or the Direct/Internal Email Address is used in the check. You can control what is checked in the Online Meetings settings.
Recorded Meetings
Within your Zoom Account, there is an option to Automatically Save Recorded Meetings. If this option is selected, at the end of a recorded meeting the recording will be processed and hosted by Zoom.
You can choose to automatically save the link to recorded meetings in Eploy in the Online Meeting settings.
Scopes Required by the Integration
user:read:admin - This is used by the Integration to search the linked Zoom Organisation Account for an account which matches the “Organiser” field for an Action or Slot within the Eploy System.
meeting:write:admin - This is used by the Integration to schedule a Zoom meeting for the “Organiser” selected when creating an Action or Slot within the Eploy System.
meeting:read:admin - This is used by the Integration to gather information from Zoom about a meeting that has been scheduled by an Action or Slot within the Eploy System. This information is limited to the “Join URL” and “Invite Message” which Zoom provides for all scheduled meetings.
recording:read:admin - This is used by the Integration to append links to any cloud recordings for a scheduled meeting to the Action or Slot within the Eploy System.
Backout Method
You can choose to remove the Zoom installation at any time, either by unlinking Zoom in Eploy or by logging into your Zoom account and removing the Eploy App.
Unlinking Zoom in Eploy
Log into Eploy and, from the menu bar, navigate to Admin > System/Security Settings > Standard Users and scroll down to the Online Meetings section.
Click Unlink Zoom Account and, within the popup, click Unlink.
Removing the Eploy App in Zoom
Go to the App Marketplace in Zoom and search for Eploy.
Scroll to the Manage section and click Remove on Remove the app.
