In addition to seeing current Applications against Vacancies, Hiring Managers may also have access to the Talent Pool, meaning they can proactively source candidates from the database.
The Talent Pool search allows Hiring Managers to identify Candidates who may be a suitable match for their of your Vacancies and either add them to a long list or create an application for the role.
Access to the Talent Pool is controlled from within the Recruitment Workflow settings.
Accessing the Talent Pool
The Talent Pool is accessed via the Pipeline or Tab views. When using the Change View Mode button, select Talent Pool.
You'll now see a list of all Candidates that are part of your Talent Pool.
The talent pool is likely to be restricted, to hide certain groups of candidates, i.e. internal candidates or those now working for you may not be available. Similarly, Hiring Managers may only have access to candidates that have specifically been allocated to the talent pool.
Searching the Talent Pool
Having accessed the Talent Pool, select the Vacancy to search against from the Vacancy filter then click Search.
The following search fields are available:
Candidate ID
Forenames
Surname
Email Address
Function
Location
Department
Vacancy Type
Search CVs
You're free to search against these fields or loads search criteria from the current selected Vacancy.
Search CVs is a free-text search box. Enter the text you're looking for. This field also supports Boolean Operator - AND or OR.
Click Candidate Search to conduct the search.
Click each Candidate's name to view their details.
Using the Long List
The Long List displays Candidates that have been long-listed against your Vacancies by members of the Recruitment Team. Hiring Manager access to the Long List is controlled by the Recruitment Workflow settings.
To view the Long List, access the Talent Pool as described above and open the Long List tab - this will display all long listed Candidates.
Depending on Workflow settings you may be able to contact long-listed Candidates and move them to an Application stage.
To contact the Candidate click Contact > Candidate. Compose your email or select a suitable template and click Send.
To move a long-listed Candidate into the Recruitment Workflow use the Process Menu to create an Application on their behalf.
