Creating or assigning an existing Maintenance Service Group allows you to take the guesswork out of upcoming maintenance and service for your entire fleet.

Preventative maintenance in the T3 system will automatically create a Work Order when your machine approaches the interval threshold (time or utilization), saving you time and keeping your fleet operational.

Setting up the Service Interval

  • In T3, open the app drawer and select Fleet.

  • Select Company from the left navigation menu

  • Select the Account tab.

  • From the Maintenance Group section, select New Group (or select from an existing group).

  • Select + Add Service Interval

  • Choose between:

    • Utilization-based interval - Select this option if you are creating a Service Interval around the equipment's usage, such as hours or miles that are driven.

    • Time-based interval - Select this option if you are creating a Service Interval around time, such as days.

    • Combination interval - Select this option if you are creating a combination of utilization and time interval.

  • Enter the Interval details.

    • Name

    • Description

    • Threshold Parameters (Time-Based or Utilization Based, depending upon the interval selected).

    • Indicate if you would like a warning color to display in the interval visual when X hours are remaining.

    • Indicate if you would like a WO created when X hours are remaining.

  • Once the information is entered, click Add

  • Your New Service Group will appear. Click Save to save the changes.

  • This action creates a Maintenance Group for your company.

Applying a Maintenance Group to an Equipment Class

The T3 system allows you to assign an equipment class to a service interval maintenance group. This means that any new asset with that equipment class added to the system will be assigned to the service interval maintenance group.

  • Select an existing Maintenance Group from the dropdown list.

  • Select + Add equipment class.

  • Select from the list of equipment classes.

  • Then select Add.

Assigning the Maintenance Group to an Asset

  • Now you need to assign your asset to the New Service Group

  • From T3, select Map from the left navigation menu.

  • Locate the asset for assigning the Service Group. Click Details

  • Select the Service tab.

  • From the Service Group section, select a Service Group from the drop-down options.

  • Click Assign

  • The Service Group has been assigned to the asset!
