If you have entered the virtual interview room and the interviewers cannot hear you or you cannot hear the interviewer, try the below steps to get your audio working:
1. Unmute your Microphone
Firstly, make sure that your Microphone isn't muted. You can click the button at the bottom of the screen to unmute:
2. Close other Apps
Make sure that you close any other application that could be using your microphone like Zoom, MS Teams, Loom, Skype, FaceTime, etc...
3. Refresh the page.
This will take you back to the login screen and means you can enter the interview again. It will solve any minor technical errors that might have occurred when you first joined. Look for this button and click on it to refresh:

4. Check your Settings
Make sure you are using the correct audio input e.g. headphones or laptop speakers.

5. Change your Audio Input
Try switching audio inputs (headphones or speakers) in case it is a hardware issue.
Whenever you click on the drop-down menu you will see all available audio or video inputs you can choose from.
π‘If there is no drop-down menu then you will only have one input available.
Once you have selected your new inputs click done and see if the audio and video are now working.
π‘If you are using an external microphone, headset or camera you can try conducting the interview without them, either unplug them or switch them off and see if the audio and video work for you.
6. Try with a Different Device
Finally you can try a different device (laptop / mobile phone) if you are still struggling to get your audio working.
