Not sure when your next interview session is? Adding interviewers last minute? Not sure if candidates are even going to attend? Equitas has updated the way interviews are managed by creating more transparency and up to date information with a new dashboard and improved statuses.

There will now be a status for candidates and a status for the interview itself. You can see the list of potential statuses and what they mean in the table below.

Candidates will be able to indicate whether they will attend or not, or request a new time for their interview. If there is any information missing from the setup, it is much easier and quicker to find and rectify this.

All of this can be managed from the campaign page.

The dashboard

Start your interviews even quicker with just two clicks, from the new dashboard. Managing interview sessions is also easier, with outstanding actions highlighted on the dashboard.

The new landing page shows all upcoming sessions for that day. It is still possible to view the list of campaigns by selecting the relevant button.

The outstanding actions shows any sessions that require user input. The statuses that will be displayed in this section will be:

  • Add interviewer: the session needs interviewers assigned to it

  • Invite not sent: the candidate has not been invited to the session

  • Reschedule request: the candidate has requested a rescheduled interview (where applicable)

  • Scoring incomplete: scores are missing, or an assigned interviewer has not provided scores

The candidate list

Within the list of candidates on the campaign page, there are two types of status, one for the candidate and one for the interview session.

The candidate status is based on the communications with the candidate and their responses. The candidate will now be asked to confirm whether they will be attending or not, with the option of requesting a rescheduling of the session. Their response will determine this status, as per the table. By hovering or clicking on the icon within the table, more information will be displayed.

The interview status is based on the information provided for the setup of the sessions. This highlights any sessions that are missing information and provides quick and easy access to rectify this. For the situations where actions are required, clicking on the status will open the relevant section.

The list can be filtered and sorted based on these statuses and any session that is ready to start will appear at the top.

Non-attendance

The available actions in the dropdown list for each candidate will correspond to the status making it easier to take quick actions. A new action in the list is for any candidate that has not turned up for the interview; it is now possible to mark that candidate as Did Not Attend. This can also be done from the interview sessions, which will end the session and mark the candidate as Did Not Attend. In both cases, the candidate can be reinstated, so it can be restarted or rescheduled.
