Providing a user's role permits them to change an item's Line Margin and(or) Line Total in Sales Orders, the unit price can be recalculated/ back calculated by changing either Line Margin or Line Total, thereby ensuring /maintaining agreed totals/ margins.
Roles
A Minimum Margin % & Warning Threshold % can be pre defined at either the Product level or Product Group level (If both, then the former will trump).

The below margin of 33.33% is based on a cost price of 10.00 & sales price of 15.00.
Changing the margin from 33.33 % to 10 %, changes the Unit price from 15.00 to 11.11 and highlights amount in red as it exceeded the minimum allowed threshold:
