The Item Status Report provides a simple yet powerful way to track your inventory across depots, helping you make informed rental and stock management decisions.
Accessing the Item Status Report
To generate and view the Item Status Report:
Navigate to Reports from the main menu.
Select Item Status Report from the available report options.
Choose any required filters to refine your results, such as:
Depot (e.g., filter by a specific depot to check local stock levels)
Item Status (e.g., Available, On Hire, In Maintenance, etc.)
Product Name or Item Number (to locate specific items)
Click Generate Report to display the results.
Understanding the Report Data
The Item Status Report provides key details about your stock items:
Item Number – The unique identifier for each stock item.
Product Name – The name of the product assigned to the item.
Depot – The depot where the item is currently located.
Item Status – The current status of the item, such as:
Available
On Rent
Service
Allocated
Return Request
Dispatched
Quantity- The quantity that is being used or available
This report helps you track stock across locations and monitor the availability of items for upcoming rentals.
Exporting the Report
For further analysis or record-keeping, you can export the report:
After generating the report, click the Export button.
Choose your preferred format (CSV, PDF, or Excel).
Save the file to your device for future reference or sharing.
