What is the weekly activity report?
The weekly activity report gives you an at-a-glance overview of recent student activity in eSpark for reading or math. It shows you who logged into eSpark this week, in progress work students are completing, who is on track and who is struggling, and how long they spent on eSpark.
How can I filter my report?
You are able to filter the Weekly Activity Report by Week Shown, Subject, Scores vs. Minutes, and Quests vs. Assignments (or both).
What do the icons mean?
Students are Thriving! for standard mastery when they score 80% or more on an Assignment or Quest, or when they score 100% on a Quest pre-quiz.
β
Students are On Track when they score 50% or more on quiz questions during a session.
β
Struggling students score below 50% on quiz questions during a session.
β
The student is working on a Quest or Assignment.
β
The student logged in and worked on another subject or lesson type, or activity data is not yet available.
What can I do with my report?
Check on student log ins - Filter your report using the Minutes option to see when your students logged in and how many minutes they worked in eSpark each day.
Check in with strugglers - Students who score below 50% on their Quest questions are grouped together and will show the red square. If multiple students struggle with the same standard, they are also grouped together.
Dive deeper - When you hover over any icon on your the report, you'll see more detail about student activity that day or week. Click on a student's name to see all their current and completed activities and quiz scores.
Track minutes - You can view how many minutes students spend on eSpark each day. You can also set a goal for how many minutes you want students to spend on eSpark daily.
View reports for previous weeks - You can view reports from previous weeks by using the date picker at the top of the report. You can also use the checkbox to include weekends.
