Easy Breezy!

You've onboard. Congratulations! When your teacher has assigned you a lesson, the first thing you'll want to do is click on the assignment tile itself. This will take you directly to the essay assignment.

When you click on a tile, it will take you to the essay lesson. Here's is where you will title your essay and write your name, teacher's name, etc. You'll see the prompt, the criteria, and resources your teacher would like you to have access to. You can even change the color so it looks awesome on your assignments page.

Once this page is filled out, just click the start writing button. You can also do a pre-write if you'd like or if the teacher has assigned one.

That's really all there is to it.

Summing Up

That's basically it. You're well on your way to creating amazing and properly-structured essays, quickwrites, and stories. Your teacher will guide you through the process and soon you'll be using essaypop like an expert. Next up, you'll want to learn about the writing area Hive which is the place where the teacher will see your writing and where you will be able to see the writing of your peers.

For additional guidance, this video takes you through the system as well.

To learn about the different parts of an essay, the essaypop Style Guide is excellent. Bookmark it; you'll be using it a lot.
