Accessing the Heat Map Configuration

  1. Click your username in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select “Admin”.

  3. The first screen you see will be the Heat Map Configuration.

Changing Heat Map Colors

  • Each square in the heat map shows a specific combination of Likelihood (1–5) and Impact (1–5).

  • Click the dropdown arrow (▼) on any square to select a custom color.

  • These colors are used in:

    • Heat map reports

    • Risk light displays based on inherent and residual scores

Activating Quantitative Risk Calculation

  • The 1–5 values for Likelihood and Impact cannot be changed.

  • Admins can turn on quantitative scoring by selecting:

    • Yes under “Display risk probabilities & financial impacts”

Entering Probabilities and Financial Values

Once the quantitative feature is activated:

  • Admins can enter:

    • A probability percentage for each likelihood level

    • A dollar value for each impact level

  • These values are multiplied to produce:

    • Estimated risk values used across the system

Note: These figures will only be shown when the feature is turned on.
