What Is the Risk Portfolios Feature?

If your organization has the Risk Portfolios feature enabled, you can:

  1. Restrict user access to certain risks and resources

  2. Filter explorers and reports based on portfolio assignment

To verify if this feature is active, a System Administrator can check the “Risk Portfolios” setup screen in the Admin area.

How User Access Is Controlled

  • Admins can create confidential Risk Portfolios in the Admin screen

  • Standard Users (non-admins) are assigned to specific portfolios

  • When users log in, they only see:

    • The portfolios they have access to

    • The risks and records associated with those portfolios

This ensures that sensitive risks and data are visible only to authorized users.

Portfolio-Based Filtering in the System

Most of the following areas can be filtered by portfolio:

  • Explorer screens

  • Reports

This makes it easier to manage large volumes of data and maintain confidentiality across teams or departments.

Applies to: Admin Users, Standard Users

Keywords: user access, risk portfolio, restrictions, permissions, admin settings, data visibility, confidential access
