How Email Notifications Work
All Action Plan Owners receive an email from:
notifications@essentialerm.com
The email includes a secure link to update the status of the action plan.
The link can be clicked multiple times until it expires.
Updating an Action Plan
Click the link in the email
A browser window will open to the update screen
You can:
Update the action status (e.g. In Progress, Complete)
Add a note (optional but recommended)
Viewing Action Plan Notes
Any notes submitted through the email link are saved in the Notes section of the Action Plan
Notes can also be viewed by logging into Essential ERM and opening the relevant Action Plan
What Happens After an Update?
Once status is updated, no further action is required
All changes are automatically saved to the system’s change log
