Step-by-Step: Create a Custom Heat Map View
Go to the Heat Map Report screen in the Reporting section.
At the top-left of the report, locate the second dropdown menu from the left (default is named "Default").
Click the dropdown and select “Create New”.
The screen will enter Edit Mode.
Here you can:
Give the heat map a custom name (e.g., “Executive View” or “Alternative Model”)
Modify risk color settings for each score combination (e.g., Likelihood x Impact)
After configuring the view, click “Save”.
The system will reload briefly to apply changes.
Once saved, your new custom view will appear as an option in the same dropdown menu.
You can now:
Toggle between different saved views
Download a copy of each view as needed
Notes
Each custom heat map applies only to the Heat Map Report.
Changing the heat map view here does not affect:
Strategy Dashboard
Objectives screen
Risk Details screen
Risk Voting heat maps
You can create and manage multiple views for different reporting scenarios or audiences.
All views remain saved and accessible via the dropdown for future use.
Example Use Case
An Admin creates a new heat map called "Another Heat Map," assigns unique colors to clearly distinguish it from the default, saves it, and is then able to toggle between the default and new view using the dropdown. They can also download the new heat map version like the standard one.
