1. How to Reset Your Password if You Forgot It
Go to the Essential ERM login page.
Enter your email and click Next.
Click the red Forgot Password link.
On the next screen, re-enter your email and click Recover Password.
You’ll receive a password reset email shortly.
Important Notes
The reset link expires in 1 hour. Make sure you’re at your computer and ready to complete the process before requesting it.
If the link expires, you can request another one — but avoid requesting too many in a short period. This could lock you out.
If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
Best Practice
Only start the reset process when you’re ready to finish it within an hour.
2. Too Many Incorrect Password Attempts
Essential ERM locks you out after 6 failed login attempts.
You’ll see a pop-up telling you to wait 1 hour before trying again.
What to do:
Double-check that Caps Lock is off (passwords are case-sensitive).
If you think you forgot your password, reset it before hitting 6 failed attempts.
Resetting your password won’t reset the 1-hour timer. If you’re locked out, wait or ask your system administrator to contact support for urgent help.
3. Deactivated Account
If your account has been deactivated:
Logging in will simply reload the login page without an error.
Resetting your password will not work.
What to do:
Contact your system administrator to confirm whether your account is still active.
4. Screen Freezes with Loading Dots
If you see three flashing dots under the login button, Essential ERM may be open in multiple tabs or windows.
Fix:
Close all tabs and windows where Essential ERM is open.
Open a new browser window, go to the login page, and try again.
