The new Reporting Center provides a modernized reporting experience with enhanced filtering, improved exports, interactive visualizations, and additional reporting views. This article explains how to access the new Reporting Center and use its key features.

Getting Started — Navigation, accessing reports, filtering, exporting, customizing columns, display settings

1. Navigation

You can access the new Reporting Center from the top navigation menu by selecting Reporting Center. When selected, it will take you to the new landing page, which opens by default on the Risk Heatmap report.

2. Accessing Other Reports

Use the left-hand navigation panel to quickly switch between report types without leaving the Reporting Center.

New Reports include:

  • Heatmap by Risks — View risks plotted on the heatmap grid by inherent or residual score.

  • Heatmap by Categories — View the same heatmap data grouped by category, owner, portfolio, or sub-category.

  • Risk Trends — Track how risk scores have changed over time with an interactive visualizer.

  • Risk Distribution — See how risks are spread across levels, categories, owners, portfolios, or rollup groups.

  • Risk Summary — A detailed, export-friendly report showing full risk information with toggleable sections.

Legacy Reports will remain accessible while you transition to the new reports. Contact support if you need help migrating your workflows.

  • Risk Heat Map

  • Trend Report

  • Risk Details Report

3. Enhanced Exporting Options

The new heatmap, trend, and distribution reports allow you to export exactly what you see on your screen. You can export individual risks from the heatmap, download just the Risk Register, or choose a combined export of both the heatmap visualization and register together. You can also print the report directly or save it as a PDF.

4. Customizing the Register View

On the Register portion of the report, you can configure the columns to show your preferred information by toggling specific column fields on or off.

5. Advanced Filtering

Click the Filters button to open the filter panel and narrow down your report by: Risk Status (Active, Archive, Draft, etc.), Portfolio, Risk Name, Rollup Group, Owner, Category, Sub Category, Strategic Category, and Objectives. You can also use the Show Top control to limit results to a set number of risks, ranked by Score, Inherent, Residual, or Target. Apply filters and the report will update instantly.

6. Display Settings

Using the Settings menu, you can configure your exact display settings and viewing preferences. This includes: Display Titles (customize the labels shown on the heatmap card and risk register for presentations), Risk Matrix Preferences (set the default risk type — Inherent, Residual, or Target — and toggle reference numbers on the heatmap), Distribution Preferences (set the default chart type — Bar Chart or Pie Chart — and default grouping for the Grouped Analysis view), and Default Column Visibility (choose which columns appear by default in the Risk Register).

Report Types — Heatmap by Risk, Heatmap by Category, Risk Trends, Risk Distribution, Risk Summary

7. Heatmap by Risks

The Heatmap by Risks report displays all risks plotted on the risk matrix grid. Each cell on the heatmap shows how many risks fall within that likelihood and impact combination. Click on any cell to instantly filter the Risk Register below to show only the risks in that zone.

8. Heatmap by Category

The Heatmap by Category report gives you the flexibility to view your heatmap data sliced by category, owner, portfolio, or sub-category.

9. Interactive Risk Trends

The Risk Trend report has been updated to be more interactive and accommodate a larger volume of risks. Hovering over a risk on the register will automatically highlight that specific risk on the trend report visualizer.

10. Flexible Risk Distribution

The Risk Distribution report allows you to view risks grouped by level, category, owner, portfolio, and rollup group. You can also seamlessly switch your visual layout between a Bar Chart or a Pie Chart view.

11. Streamlined Risk Summary

The new Risk Summary report improves upon the old Risk Details report by being significantly more export-friendly. It benefits from updated filters and allows you to toggle individual sections on or off to hide unnecessary clutter.
