Using Essential ERM on your tablet or phone

Both the Voting Screen and the Action Plan Update Window have been optimized for use on mobile devices and both will function well on phones and tablets. These screens are designed to be used by contributors to the ERM process who may be attempting to answer ERM information requests quickly and easily while they are on the go. (Note that ERM contributors do not require a user account or login to respond to votes and action plan update requests.)

As for the rest of the system that a User sees when they log in, the initial release of Essential ERM has been designed to be used desktop monitors and notebook monitors with high resolution (ideal resolution is 1920 x 1080 and above). You will be able to log into Essential ERM successfully with a mobile device but many of the screens will not scale down properly for effective use on tablets and mobile phones.

We are working on this, however, and will introduce changes in upcoming releases to support proper scaling for use on common tablet devices.

Some of the columns are not lining up properly on my monitor screen. How do I fix this?

The initial release of Essential ERM has been designed to be used desktop monitors and notebook monitors with high resolution (ideal resolution is 1920 x 1080 and above). Some users with lower resolution or different dimensions will notice cases where the columns may not line up properly in the Enterprise Risk Console and where report graphics may be misaligned. This can usually be fixed easily by zooming out the User’s browser (e.g. CTRL – in Chrome and Microsoft Edge).

We are working on changes in upcoming releases that will fix these issues so that screens will scale better for smaller resolution screens and tablet devices.
