The top of the Strategy Console has several filters, as pictured below. All User types, including Read Only Users can make use of these filters.

Filters can be used in combination to filter the screen for only Risks, Objectives, and Strategic Categories that meet all of the selected conditions.

The filters function as follows:

Show Suppressed

By default, the Strategy Console displays Risks that have been “suppressed” in the Risk Details screen. Suppressing a Risk means ignoring its Risk Appetite Thresholds and removing it from selected screens and reports.

By Owners or Business Areas

This filters the screen to display only the Risks assigned to a specific Risk Owner or attached to a specific Business Area tag.

Any Strategic Categories or Objectives that do not contain a Risk that meets the filter criteria will be removed from the screen, in order to simplify the view and highlight only the affected Strategic Categories and Objectives.

By Category or Sub-Category

This filters the screen to display only the Risks assigned to a specific Category or Sub-Category.

Any Strategic Categories or Objectives that do not contain a Risk that meets the filter criteria will be removed from the screen, in order to simplify the view and highlight only the affected Strategic Categories and Objectives.

By Portfolio (optional feature)

This filter appears only if your organization has enabled the optional Portfolio feature. When enabled, this filters the screen to display only the Objectives assigned to a specific Portfolio. Note that Standard Users will only be able to filter for the Portfolios that they have been granted access to. Admin Users will be able to filter for all Portfolios.

Date Field

This field allows the User to reset the view to any date in the past. The screen will refresh to show the Risks that were associated with each Objective on the earlier date, but will display the current risk score and Rank value.

Clicking the date field a second time and selecting “clear” will reset the screen to the current view.
