How to Use the New Share Feature in Essential ERM
Overview:
We’ve introduced a new feature in Essential ERM to make collaboration easier and more efficient. Now, you can share risks, causes, mitigations, consequences, actions, and objectives directly with your team members. This article will walk you through how to use the new share feature.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Share Feature
1. Navigate to the Details Page
Once you’re in the Essential ERM platform, find the resource you want to share. Click on the resource to open its details page.
2. Click the “Share” Button
On the top-right corner of the Risk Details page, you will see a “Share” button. Click on it to open the share dialog.
3. Select Users to Share With
In the share dialog, you can search for and select the team members you want to share the risk with. You can select multiple users at once.
4. Add an Optional Message
There is an optional message box where you can include any context or instructions for the recipients.
5. Send the Share Notification
Once you’ve selected the users and added a message (if needed), click the “Share” button to send the notification. The recipients will receive an email with a link to the risk details.
What the Recipient Will See:
The recipient will receive an email notification that includes:
• The name of the risk you’ve shared.
• A link to the risk in Essential ERM, allowing them to review all details.
• Your personalized message (if included).
