Ardex Essentials has the functionality to pull up data to be generated in an advice through the use of bookmark tags. Once the communications are generated, it will automatically replace the bookmark tags with the actual data found on the database. This article shows how to generate communications for an owner's current balance.

Generating the Communication
To generate a person advice with bookmarks:
Go to Communications > Add progress note
Enter a subject, date, select Send to Client, and select the client you wish to send the advice to
Write the message and enter a keyword (e.g. CurrentBalance, 00DayBalance, Balance00)
Highlight the keyword and click the flag 🏴 icon
Enter the bookmark tag (e.g. for current balance, 'Balance00')
Click OK
Click Save
Previewing the Communication
To preview the communication:
Go to Communications view and click the gear wheel ⚙️ icon
Select Recipients
Select View
As you can see, the bookmark tag 'Balance00' was replaced by the current balance of Jane Doe
