How to enable Xero access for yourself or other users

There are four permissions related to Xero:

  1. Xero - Admin

  2. Xero Financials - Edit

  3. Xero Imports - Edit

  4. Xero Statement Export

If a user is given Admin permissions (1) they will be able to perform all functions. Permissions 2 - 4 are single settings that a user can have.

Please note: Only the Admin is able to enable/disable other users' permissions

Setup:

  1. To enable Xero permissions go to the Settings wheel in the Navigation bar

  2. Go to the Account section

  3. Go to the Users tab in the left-hand side menu

  4. Click on the cog at the end of a user row

  5. Click Update Permissions

  6. To change a User's permissions click on an item in the Disallowed column to move it to Allowed column

  7. Click Save to update the User's permissions
