If the horse that is needed for a movement does not appear in the search then the Create Horse option can be used to add the horse.
Select the icon next to the Add Horse button.
The following screen will be displayed
Mandatory fields
Horse name - free form text
Type of horse - dropdown list
A horse record can be created with the above fields and updated under the Horse record at another time.
If the horse needs to be added with all details then enter the horse name, dam or sire in the Search Horse field at the top of the screen. Horses relating to that search will be returned in the horse table.
If the number of horses returned needs to be reduced a further search in the horse table can be done by entering horse details in the table search field.
Double click on the horse required and the horse fields will be populated. Type of Horse will need to be selected.
Select Create Horse. The horse can then be added to the movement.
