How to bookmark a contract

Download bookmarks and add the bookmarks to a Word document

Select the Contracts view then select any booking. Select Print Contract from the table menu.

Select Download Data

An Excel spreadsheet can be selected from the Downloads that appears in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Open the file then save the spreadsheet to your computer.

Open the contract on Word then select Mailing from the Word menu.

Select Recipients tab then select Use an Existing List

Go to the spreadsheet that was previously saved and select the file then select Open to attach the bookmark spreadsheet.

Then select OK.

Select where you want the first bookmark to be added then select Insert Merge Field. The list containing the bookmarks will be displayed.

Select the required bookmark. it will be added to the document. Continue adding bookmarks until all bookmarks required have been added.

Once the document is bookmarked save it then the bookmarked contract can be uploaded to Essentials to create the contract which can be saved as a PDF, Word document or emailed.
