After setting stables up in Settings, a stable can be added to a horse. This can be done when moving or arriving a horse. In the procedure, select the property the horse is at then select the drop-down list for Paddock/Stable and all stables will be displayed that belong to the property the horse is going to be located at.

The horse location status can also be updated to show the stable the horse is located in.

Go to the horse tab, select the horse then click on the Location tab. Click in the table on the latest location, select Update Location then add or change the stable the horse is located in. This will not change the horse location status.
