A work profile is the description of a set of work that needs to have the ability to assign multiple work items to a horse in one place. A work profile can be Trackwork, Farrier, Chiropractor etc. Work profiles must have a unique name. There are two system work profiles under Trackwork that are needed for the grids used to assign work to horses.

The name cannot be changed on the system work profiles.
A work profile is added via the Settings menu under work profile
A table will be displayed. User can
Add - add a new work profile
Edit - edit an existing work profile
Delete - delete a work profile. System profiles cannot be deleted
To add a work profile Select +Add from the table menu
A modal will be displayed. Enter a unique name for the work profile. There are two options
Grouping - grouping is how the work will be displayed when viewed.
None - the work items will be displayed individually
Section - will show all of the work items added via the modal together and the section they belong to
Profile - will show all of the work items added via the modal together and the profile they belong to
Filters - can customise the list of horses displayed for a work profile
For example, if Horse type is selected, then specific horse types can be chosen and only the horses with this type will appear in the list of horses. For Trackwork, Race Horse can be selected then only racehorses will appear in the Trackwork horse list.
To edit a Work Profile, click on the work profile in the table then select Edit. The modal will pop up so changes can be made. Select Update work profile to save changes.
To delete a work profile, click on the profile and select Delete. You will be asked if you are sure you wish to delete this work profile. Select Confirm to delete.
NOTE - system work profiles cannot be deleted.
Also when a work profile is deleted all attached work sections and work items will also be deleted so if you are reallocating these do it before deleting the Work profile.
