The views under Work Management in Trackwork can be sorted, filtered, columns selected and searching done. There are also options to edit, delete, refresh, export to Excel and print.

Table menu

On the menu there are options that are available depending on which view the user is on.

Edit - click on the lint to be edited. The fields that can edited will either have a line for free form text or a drop-down list to change data

Update - select this to save changes or click on the next line to save changes

Cancel - cancel changes without saving

Delete - click on the line and delete the work added to horses

Refresh - updates the table

Excel Export - exports the table to Excel. Will export what is currently being viewed. If columns have been removed and the table filtered then only this data will be exported.

Print - print what is currently being viewed

Some of the functions can be accessed by right clicking on a line in the view. This can be used if the table menu is not visible

Sorting

To sort a column either click on the column name or select the small upside-down triangle next to the column name and sort either A to Z or Z to A

Some views will have a default sort which is displayed by the number next to the column name

To sort more than one column - click on the first column then hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and click on the columns in the order you want the search to appear in.

Filtering

Click on the small triangle next to the column name to open the filtering. All options will be selected. Untick Select All then select the option(s) you want displayed. To save, click OK. The view will only display the options selected. A user can select more than one column to filter by

Searching

Searching can be done via the small upside-down triangle or via the search option on the table menu

Columns - change which columns are displayed

On the table menu the columns drop-down list can be selected. Unselect any columns that are not required. The view can then be exported with only the data displayed on the view.
