When using an ESTHER card to make a payment, you may be prompted to input the CVV or CVC (what is known as the 3 digit security code on the back of your card).
It's really important that you input this correctly so the merchant can authorize the card for payment to be completed.
Sometimes the merchant doesn't pass the CVV/CVC for authorization, in which case the transaction will be declined. If your transaction is going through successfully and then being automatically reversed, this could be because the CVV/CVC isn't being passed for authorization.
If possible, the best thing to do in this scenario is to make the transaction in person with your physical card. If you are unable to do this, you can try phoning the merchant and ask them to take the card details for authorization over the phone.
