Why Do You Need an Authorised Representative?
As per GPSR and CE regulations, selling consumer products in the EU requires manufacturers to make their products traceable. This means that an EU Responsible Person's address must be included on the product packaging.

Page 30: The manufacturer’s name, registered trade name, postal, and electronic address must be displayed.
Page 24: If the manufacturer's details cannot be placed on the product, they must be included on the packaging or an accompanying document.
Thus, an Authorised Representative (AR) address can legally appear on the packaging instead of the product itself.
