1. Go to your event dashboard.

Go to Manage my events in your account. Then select your event.

2. Go to "Promo codes" (under "Tickets").

3. Select "Add code".

4. Enter a code name.

This is what attendees enter during checkout. For example, if your code gives a 10% discount, your code name could be “SAVE10”.

5. Set limits for your promo code.

There are two ways to limit the use of your codes:

  • Change the Ticket limit. This invalidates your code after it’s used on a certain amount of tickets.

  • Set a start and/or end date. The code won’t be valid outside of the date(s) you set.

Otherwise, your code is usable as long as tickets are available.

6. Optional: Use your code to reveal hidden ticket types.

If you have hidden tickets you want this code to reveal, turn on Reveal hidden tickets during checkout.

To hide a ticket type:

  1. Go to Tickets.

  2. Click the name of your ticket type.

  3. Click Advanced settings.

  4. Change the visibility to Hidden.

If you need to discount hidden and visible ticket types, create a separate code for each.

7. Set a discount amount.

Discount tickets by a percentage of the ticket price or by a set amount. If a ticket’s price is reduced completely, the ticket will be free.

For codes that reveal hidden tickets, this step is optional.

NOTE: Discounts do not apply to donation tickets.

8. Choose which tickets to apply the code to.

Your code will automatically apply to all available tickets and add-ons. If you only want the code to only apply to certain tickets:

  1. Choose the option for specific tickets.

  2. Click Select.

  3. Tick the box next to your desired ticket types.

  4. Click Done.

9. Save your changes.

10. Delete, update, or share an existing code.

Click the three-dots next to the code. From there:

  • Click Edit to change the code name, limits, and other settings.

  • Click Delete to remove this code. This option is only available on unused codes.

  • Click Share code URL to get a sharable link. This link automatically applies your code during checkout.

To bulk delete unused codes:

  • Click More options.

  • Click Delete unused codes.

  • Choose the type of codes you want to delete.

  • Click Delete.

11. Test your promotional code.

After you create your code, view your event page to test it out. From your event page, click Tickets (Register on some events). Then click Enter promo code, add your code, and click Apply.

If your code isn't working, check the following:

  • Make sure you're entering the right code — Promo codes are not case sensitive, but remove spaces and fix typos.

  • Confirm your tickets are on sale — If your tickets are sold out or the sales date has ended, the code won't work.

  • Make sure your code settings are correct — If you don't tick the box to reveal hidden tickets, the code won't work for hidden tickets.
