In this video, you'll learn how to use the Share On LinkedIn feature! Below you'll learn how to use all of the features of this tool!

The Share on LinkedIn tool allows you to:

  • Create organic posts using pre-filled content directly from Eventbrite

  • Customize your post's image with our Canva integration

  • Preview your post to see how it'll look on LinkedIn's newsfeed before you publish

You can create the following types of organic posts using this tool:

  • An organic post sharing your Eventbrite event - direct potential buyers to your Eventbrite ticketing page

  • An organic post sharing your Eventbrite collection - direct potential buyers to your Eventbrite ticketing page

  • An organic post directing to a URL of your choice

Post an event

Quickly create a post to promote your event on LinkedIn. Below we'll briefly talk about various steps of creating your first event post!

  1. Event - Use the dropdown to select the Eventbrite event you want to promote. When people click on your post it will direct them to the ticketing page for your selected event on Eventbrite

  2. Description - This is the text that appears above the image of your post. Enter whatever text you want to use to give your potential ticket buyers context about your event. Gives context on the who, what, when, and where. Use language that fosters a sense of urgency!

  3. Hashtags - LinkedIn recommends using no more than 3 hashtags per post. Use hashtags related to the event you're throwing!

  4. Who can see your post - you choose whether you'd like your posts to be seen by anyone or exclusively by people within your network.

Share A Collection

Quickly create a post to promote your event collection on LinkedIn. Below you'll learn how to create your first event collection post!

  • Event - Use the dropdown to select the Eventbrite collection you want to promote. When people click on your post they'll go to the ticketing page for your selected collection on Eventbrite

  • Description - This text appears above the image of your post. Enter text to give your potential ticket buyers context. Gives context on the who, what, when, and where. Use language that fosters a sense of urgency!

Create A New Post

It's incredibly easy to create an organic post on LinkedIn directly within Eventbrite. Below we'll briefly talk about various steps of creating your first post!

  • Description - This text appears above your post's image. Enter text in this field to give context. Provide context on where you're sending people and use personalized language to help your content stand out!

  • Hashtags - LinkedIn recommends using no more than 3 hashtags per post. Use hashtags related to your post or organization!

  • Link Headline - Enter a headline that gives context on where the URL sends people. This appears below the image in your post. Create a call to action to increase clicks on your post.

  • URL - Enter the webpage url people go to when they click on your post. This can be anything.

  • Who can see your post - Choose whether your post is seen by anyone or exclusively by people within your network.
