What is evCover?
evCover is an easy-to-use insurance solution that allows vendors to quickly purchase the necessary coverage for events directly through the platform. Instead of dealing with third-party insurance companies and managing separate communications with event organizers, evCover streamlines the process. Vendors can either purchase a policy through evCover or upload their own insurance, making it simple to meet event insurance requirements and stay compliant, all from one place.
Applying for evCover
1. Login in to your Eventeny.com. Click on Your applications from the Participate tab at the top of the website.
2. Click "View or Edit" or "View" on the application you wish to apply coverage for.
3. After submitting your application, if proof of insurance is required by the event organizer, you'll receive an email notification and see a yellow banner with additional details. The banner will explain that a certificate of insurance is required and list any additional insured party information needed for the policy. You can either purchase insurance through Eventeny (if offered by the event organizer) or source your own insurance and upload your certificate here.
4. You have the option to apply for a policy directly on the platform with our insurance partner, Vertical Insurance. To apply for insurance directly on the platform, select the "Browse rates" button
5. You will be asked a series of qualifying questions to determine your eligibility. Click on "view quote when you are done answering the questions.
6. If you are eligible, you will receive an instant quote and will be required to submit payment information to finalize the application.
7. If you are not approved, you will receive the following message and will have the option to reach out to our insurance partner directly for a custom quote.
8. Once payment is submitted, if approved for a quote, then you will be redirected to your submission page and will need to wait a few minutes for the policy to be finalized.
9. As soon as the policy is finalized, the certificate of insurance will be uploaded to your application and the event organizer will be notified, immediately.
