The latest updates to the Attendee App are being rolled out from Monday, September 7, 2026.

📌 Improvements
"Speakers" (Speaker Search) now has extra settings and has had a design and usability upgrade.
There are new localizations (Sessions, and View Contact).
New builder settings include:
Show Biography Excerpts [on the speaker list] (defaults to ON) - note, these will pull information from the Contact Biography.
Show Presentation Keywords (defaults to ON)
Show [honorific] Titles (defaults to OFF)
Include Session Roles (defaults to OFF)
(For a cleaner display, alphabet separators and handouts have been removed from Speakers and can be accessed via the Agenda.)
App Terms of Use can now be shown in the Attendee App, via a link on the login screen before attendees log in. There are two new localizations you can use to configure/change what attendees see, and you can enter the actual Terms in the HTML editor in the Login component.
Attendee Assistant - the "AI Settings" tab in the Attendee App builder has now been renamed "Attendee Assistant". Read more here.
Minor wording change in Exhibitors component (changing "Include" to "Show" where applicable)
Make sure you have the latest version of EventsAir and resave your app builder to see the new settings.

App stores roll out app updates incrementally, and randomly
New features only show when an attendee enters their app code after the rollout (if they've entered the app code before that, it displays the older style)
