How do I create and apply a package (e.g. for Exhibitors)?

Packages let you add various module items automatically to a record once a certain registration type, exhibition stand, or sponsorship item has been chosen.

To create a package:

Navigate to the Setup Panel, and under Advanced Setup, choose Packages.

Select the (+) symbol to name the package you’re creating:

Drag and drop the modules that will be included in your package (as many as you want). You can include Notes & Marketing tags here also (e.g. as a way of auto-applying them to specific registration types).

Click the Cog icon to edit what will be included from each module.

Be sure to choose a payment status if necessary (e.g. for items that normally involve payment such as registration types, function fee types, etc.)

NOTE: By definition a package 'includes' all the added items, so you'll only see payment status options that are non-paying, e.g. "Inclusive", "Complimentary", "No Charge" etc. . Unless you've enabled other non-paying payment statuses for the item, you'll only see Inclusive or Complimentary in the selection dropdown.

If you still need payment for these items, you should add package as part of another item (registration type, exhibition stand) and then charge appropriately for that item.

After selecting all the items in each of the selected modules, save the Package.

Assign a package to an item

(The below describes how to add a package to a paid module item. You can also apply packages as part of a Submit Action on a registration site.)

In the Setup panel, select the Registrations, Exhibitions, or Sponsorship module

For Registration types:

Click the registration type this package will be applied to, check the ‘Include Package’ box and choose a package from the drop-down.

For Exhibition stand types:

Click the stand type this package will be applied to, check the ‘Include Package’ box and choose a package from the drop-down.

For Sponsorship levels:

Within the Sponsorship module, you create "Sponsorship Packages" (tiers or levels of sponsorship) but you can also add a 'module package' to the sponsorship item.
