How the Picklist Document Element applies to you
The Picklist is a powerful tool in the document creator. It allows you to offer pre-determined options to either your client or the staff filling out the form.
How to use the Picklist Document Element
You'll find some usual options in the Edit function, such as Top & Bottom Margin, Label, Inline, Font and Placeholder.
Where things get interesting is with Description (optional) which has the full functionality of a Text Box. As is in the name this feature is optional but it allows a level of customized personalization that will help make your documents stand out above the rest.
Inline- This option will place the label and the input field in a single line.
Inline Checked:
Inline Unchecked:
Required - The guest will be unable to 'submit' the form without the field being selected. It will appear with a red asterisk on the Document for easy visibility
Hide Picklist Option Selection From Customers - Most of the time you may be using this feature as a selection tool for your clients but you also have the option to make these an internal selection tool.
The picklist option is chosen by staff and cannot be changed by customers. Only the selected option's description is shown to the customer, the title is hidden.
Options - That leaves the main feature of Picklist! Two options are the default but you can add more by selecting 'Add Option'
If you want to delete or re-order your options, you'll find those on the right side.
Finally if you want to add a description to the option, you'll once again have the full power of a Text Box to do so.
