How to Add Menu Items to an Existing Invoice
Follow these steps to add new food, beverage, or other line items to an existing invoice.
Step 1 — Open the Invoice
From the left-hand menu, click Invoices.
Locate and click the Invoice Number (for example, INV-00085) to open it.
The invoice details page will load, showing all existing line items, totals, and payment information.
Step 2 — Add New Menu Items
Scroll to the Item List section.
Click + Add Item (or Add Line Item or Add Booking Items).
Choose the Menu Item from your existing menu list, or enter a new custom item.
Fill in the details:
Description (e.g., “Mini Bison Sliders”)
Quantity and Price (e.g., 24 × $4.00)
Category (e.g., Food, Beverage, Room Rental)
Add any Service Fees or Taxes, if applicable.
OR Select Booking Items you would like to add to the invoice
Step 4 — Save the Invoice
Review the totals to confirm accuracy.
Click Save Invoice (or Save Changes).
The invoice total will update automatically.
How to Add Menu Items to an Existing or Connected Invoice
You can add menu items directly from the connected invoice. This updates the invoice while keeping it linked to the associated booking.
Step 1 — Open the Booking
In the left-hand menu, select Bookings.
Locate and open the booking that contains the connected invoice.
Under the booking details, find and open the invoice (listed in the Invoices tab or section).
Step 2 — Open the Invoice
Once inside the booking, click on the invoice number (for example, INV-00068).
This opens the connected invoice view.
Step 3 — Add Menu Items
Scroll to the Items section of the invoice.
Click + Add Item, Add Multiple Items, or Add Uninvoiced Items.
Enter or select the menu items you need to include (for example, “Breakfast Buffet” or “AV Equipment Rental”) or choose from the selection.
Set or check the price, quantity, and category for each item.
Step 4 — Review and Save
Confirm that the new items display correctly on the invoice.
Verify the updated totals.
Save the invoice to finalize your changes.
