Answer:

Please keep in mind that Event Temple syncs Bookings to your Calendar (not Events) therefore if you are checking whether something has synced (based on the tick icon) make sure Bookings is selected in the Calendar.

Sometimes if a Booking is not appearing as expected in your personal Calendar, there may be an issue with syncing it. Event Temple uses a third-party program called Cronofy to link the calendars. There may be a connection issue between Event Temple & Cronofy, or Cronofy & your email provider.

In this instance, we recommend attempting to 'resync' the Booking. You can do so by re-saving the Booking status.

From the Booking Summary page

  1. Click on the Booking Status (this will bring up the 'change status' pop-up)

  2. Click Submit (no need to make any changes to status or other fields).

Although no actual changes were made to the status, this triggers an update to be sent through the calendar sync. Check your calendar to see if the Booking is now appearing as expected.

If this has not resolved this issue another option is to disconnect & reconnect your Calendar completely. If these steps don't resolve your issue, please reach out to our friendly support team who will be happy to investigate further.

Disconnect your Calendar

  1. Click on Calendars on the left-hand side of Event Temple

  2. Select Calendar from the drop-down

  3. Click the Linked Calendars button at the top-left of the Calendar page

  5. Click OK

Additional Information:

  • Event Temple uses a third party program called Cronofy to link the calendars. Rest assured that we do our utmost due diligence before employing any third party applications. Of course, if you feel the need, make sure you do any research you may feel is necessary before accepting their terms of service.

  • Changes made in your personal calendar (Office 365, Google, Outlook, etc) will not be reflected in Event Temple - but changes made in Event Temple will push over to your personal calendar. Please maintain that consideration when using the integration.
