Answer:

When creating Documents or Document Templates, we have various document elements to meet your needs. The Input text Document elements are designed to have your clients input information and send it back to you.

To add an input text field, simply double-click on it or drag and drop it on the right side of your document builder and into your Document.

You can edit the element details to request the appropriate information (i.e. How many guests are you expecting?" or "what is your partners phone number")

Additional Information:

Once the Client enters their information, currently it is saved on the Document only and does not filter into other areas, such as Custom Fields.

There are other ways in which a guest can also submit details, using a Picklist or checkbox Document Elements
