Overview

The Daily Events with Details Report provides a comprehensive overview of all events within a selected date range, grouped by booking. It includes detailed event information such as menu items, notes, attendees, and custom field data — making it ideal for event planning, operations, and communication with departments like catering and conference services.

This report is commonly used by event and banquet teams to ensure all event specifics are clearly outlined and ready for daily execution.


Filters

You can refine the report data using the following filters:

  • Event Status – Filter to include or exclude events based on their status (e.g., Definite, Tentative, or Lost).

  • Event Date – Define the date range for which you want to view events.

  • Additional filters can be added as needed using the “Add Filter” button.


Export Settings

The Export Settings section lets you control the level of detail and visibility of data in the report.

Visibility Options

You can toggle the following options:

  • Include Booking Notes – Display notes added at the booking level.

  • Include Booking Custom Values – Include any custom fields created at the booking level.

  • Include Event Notes – Show notes entered for specific events.

  • Include Event Custom Values – Display event-specific custom fields.

  • Choice Group Option Description – Include descriptions for choice groups (e.g., menu selections).

  • Include Event Financial Summary – Show a financial breakdown for the event, such as revenue and taxes.

  • Group Menu Items Under Events – Organize menu items within each event section for easier readability.

  • Menu Item Descriptions – Display detailed descriptions of selected menu items.

  • Include Expected Attendees – Include the total number of expected guests.

  • Include Guaranteed Attendees – Display the guaranteed attendance number for each event.

  • Include Set Attendees – Show the number of attendees the setup is planned for.

  • Include Actual Attendees – Reflect the final attendance numbers once events are completed.

  • Extend Date Range – Include events slightly outside the selected range to account for multi-day or extended bookings.

Options

  • Use tax-inclusive pricing – Displays financial figures with taxes included in totals.


How to Generate the Report

  1. Go to Reports → Daily Events with Details.

  2. Select the appropriate date range and apply any filters you need.

  3. Adjust your Export Settings to include or exclude specific data fields.

  4. Click Export As... to generate and download the report in your preferred format.
