Task List Report

Flexible report with filters and columns to view tasks by contact, booking, account, type, and more—including incomplete tasks.

The Tasks Report provides a detailed list of all tasks created in your Event Temple account. It helps users and managers monitor completion progress, due dates, and assigned workloads across all departments.


Report Overview

Each row represents one task, displaying its completion status, description, related record, and ownership details.
This report is useful for identifying overdue items, tracking task performance, and ensuring accountability.

Default Columns Include:

Column

Description

Completed

Checkbox indicating whether the task is complete.

Task

The name or description of the task (e.g., Send Proposal, Call Client).

Associated With

Shows the related record — such as a Booking, Account, or Contact.

Assigned To

The user responsible for completing the task.

Created By

The person who created the task.

Due At

The task’s due date and time.

Overdue tasks are marked clearly, helping prioritize immediate follow-up actions.


Available Filters

Filters allow you to narrow down your task list to focus on specific types, users, or timelines.

Filter

Description

Account

Displays only tasks linked to a specific Account.

All Day

Filters tasks that are marked as All Day events.

Assigned To

Shows tasks assigned to a specific user.

Booking

Filters tasks related to a specific Booking.

Contact

Shows tasks associated with a particular Contact.

Created At

Filters by the date a task was created.

Due At

Displays tasks based on their due date (e.g., today, this week, this month).

Completed

Filter between completed and incomplete tasks.

Created By

Shows tasks created by a selected team member.

Updated At

Filters based on the last update date.

Task Type

Filters by type (e.g., Call, Email, Meeting, To-Do).

Status

Filters by task status such as “To-Do,” “Proposal Sent,” “Follow-Up,” etc.

💡 Example: To find all overdue follow-up calls assigned to yourself, apply the filters:
Assigned To = Me, Task Type = Call, Due At = Before Today, and Completed = False.


Sorting

Click any column heading (such as Due At or Assigned To) to sort your data in ascending or descending order.
This helps highlight:

  • The most urgent or overdue tasks

  • Tasks grouped by user or account


Customizing Columns

Click the Columns button at the top right to add, hide, or rearrange columns.
You can tailor your report to display only the information that’s most relevant to you — for example, hide Created By if you’re only tracking Assigned To and Due At.


Saving a View

Once filters and columns are configured, click Save View to preserve your setup for easy future access.

Examples:

  • “My Overdue Tasks”

  • “Team Tasks This Week”

  • “Follow-Up Calls Pending”


Exporting

Use Export As... to download the filtered report in .CSV format.
All filters, sorting, and column settings will be reflected in the exported file.


Best Practices

✅ Review this report daily to stay on top of pending and overdue tasks.
✅ Filter by Assigned To to monitor workloads and balance responsibilities.
✅ Use Due At to identify high-priority deadlines.
✅ Combine this report with the Task Graph Report to visualize productivity trends.
