Answer:

You can both delete and deactivate users in Event Temple. Typically, it is recommended to deactivate users rather than deleting them completely in order to avoid data loss.

You must be an admin to perform these steps.

  1. Click Settings

  2. Click Organization

  3. Click Manage Users

  4. Click the 'action' button (black triangle) of the User

Delete:

  1. Click Edit

  2. Click Delete User

  3. For Chains - Click Remove next to each organization until there is only one left and then the Delete User button will appear

  4. Confirm that you want to delete the user by clicking OK

  5. Select a new user to assign their records to

  6. Click Delete

Deactivate:

  1. Click Deactivate

  2. Confirm that you want to deactivate the user by clicking OK

Additional Information:

  • Once a user is deleted, they will no longer exist in the system & there is no way to retrieve them.

  • Deactivated Users can be re-activated at a later time.

  • Even if a User has no Bookings assigned it will still ask you to choose a new User to assign them too. Once you choose a User and click Apply it will then allow you to delete them.
