For Organizations that have Accommodation facilities

This feature is only available for Organizations that have accommodation and sell Groups.

When Adding a Group to a Booking, Room Types are needed to add rates and blocks.

Adding Groups to a Booking can pre-fill information into Documents such as proposals and give users the ability to view data on reports including the GRC, Group Pace & Group Sales Productivity.

How to Manage Room Types

Add a Room Type

  1. Click Settings

  2. Click Organization

  3. Click Rooms

  4. Click +Add Room Type

  5. Enter the Room Name

  6. Enter the Room Code

  7. Click Save

Note: Room Code is not compulsory, but can be used to match up with a property management system if needed.

Edit a Room Type

Click the Edit icon to change a Room Type name or Code

Archive a Room Type

To archive a Space click on the Archive button, to see all Spaces including spaces that have been archived select the "Show Archived" check box.

Delete a Room Type

Click the trash icon to delete a Room Type. You will beasked to confirm your request prior to the Room Type being deleted. Please note, A Room Type cannot be deleted if it has a Group block. You must first move the Group to another Room type, or Archive the Room Type instead.

Sort Room Types

Click & drag the icon to re-order or sort Room Types

Important Considerations

If you will be integrating with a PMS, there is no need to manually add Room Types. They will be synced at the time of connecting your PMS integration. Synced Room Types cannot be edited or deleted, only archived. If you need to make changes to a synced Room Type it must be done via your PMS (if your PMS allows). When your Room Types are next synced they will be updated with any changes you have made.

Room rates are added when adding a Group to a Booking.
