Zapier is a third-party automation tool that connects Event Temple with thousands of other apps. It allows you to automate workflows without coding by moving information between systems.


What is a Zap?

A Zap is an automated workflow made up of:

  • Trigger: the event that starts the automation

  • Action: what happens after the trigger

Example:
A new inquiry → creates a booking in Event Temple


Common use cases

With Zapier and Event Temple, you can:

  • Create bookings from external lead sources (e.g. The Knot, WeddingWire)

  • Send Event Temple data to CRMs or marketing tools

  • Update records automatically based on booking activity

  • Sync contact information across systems

Booking data

  • Booking name

  • Status and stage

  • Start and end dates

  • Contact details

  • Deal value

  • Revenue summaries

  • Event Temple ID


Account data

  • Account name

  • Email and phone

  • Address details

  • Market segment

  • Account type

  • Referral source


Contact data

  • Full name

  • Email

  • Phone number

Task data

  • Task name

⚠️ Important limitations

  • Booking-related Zaps may not include full account data

    • Use a “Find Account” step if needed

  • Custom fields can be used once available in Zap steps

  • Zapier is a third-party tool (support handled externally)
