How Do I Change the Billed Organization for a User?

Updating a user’s Billed Organization ensures that invoices, permissions, and reporting are correctly aligned with the right property or account within your organization.

🔧 Steps to Update the Billed Organization

  1. Go to Settings
    From the left-hand menu, click Settings.

  2. Open the Users Page
    Under the Organization section, select Users.
    This will display a list of all active and deactivated users.

  3. Select the User to Edit
    Locate the user whose billed organization needs to be changed.
    Click the Edit button next to their name.

  4. Edit User Information
    In the Edit User window, find the Billed Organization field.

  5. Update the Organization

    • Click inside the Billed Organization field.

    • Choose the correct organization from the dropdown list or type to search.

    • Confirm the selection.

  6. Save Changes
    Click Save at the bottom of the window to apply your updates.

  • You must have the appropriate admin permissions to edit user profiles.

  • If the organization is part of a chain, ensure you assign the correct entity to prevent billing or reporting discrepancies.

  • Changes take effect immediately across linked reports and invoices.
